Regardless of where we host the conference, what makes STC great is the generosity of our presenters and the great conversations and information sharing that happens when we get together. Read the full update... 2021 Theme Disruption, Engagement, Accomplishment In a year unlike any other, SUNY technologists faced many challenges on campus, in the classroom, in the office, and at home. STC will focus on how we leveraged our skills, creativity, and tools to help faculty engage with students and help the college workforce engage with each other. It wasn’t always perfect and sometimes it wasn’t pretty, but we can be proud of what we accomplished. Join us to reflect on how we adapted and overcame these challenges and steep learning curves all while sitting at the kitchen table. Let’s share our successes and accomplishments. What did we learn along the way, what worked, what didn’t? As we begin to return to a more normal, in-person college environment, what changes will remain and how has this pandemic prepared us for our next disruptive challenge? 2021 Keynote Jones Loflin Jones Loflin has made it his life's work to deliver powerful ideas and practical solutions to help individuals and organizations struggling with too much to do. Whether it's a keynote address, training program or coaching session, his goal is offer ideas that individuals can immediately put into action. Jones' innovative solutions have attracted the attention of organizations around the world. His client list includes Federal Express, Wal-Mart, Choice Hotels, Toyota, Bridgestone, and State Farm as well as the United States military. Looking for ways to expand the reach of his message, Jones chose to become an author. His books include Juggling Elephants , Always Growing , Getting to It , and Getting the Blue Ribbon . Jones believes the key to success is being passionate about certain things in life, including family, spiritual beliefs, career and relationships. One of his favorite quotes is by Zig Ziglar: "Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you can see farther." When not working with amazing individuals like us he resides in North Carolina with his wonderful wife Lisa and their two perfect daughters.
